🧾 Ways to Print a Check

There are five different ways to print a check. Each way is designed for a different kind of payment:

  • Payroll: Calculate payroll and then click the Print Checks button. The check stubs include wages and deduction details. You can choose whether to add the entries to the general ledger after printing.

  • Quick Print Employee Checks: Click Quick Print Employee Checks from the Accounting pull-down menu. These checks don't include payroll wages or deduction details.

  • Miscellaneous General Checks: Click Quick Print Any Check from the Accounting pull-down menu. This is a non-payroll check and includes no payroll calculations.

  • Individual General Ledger Check: When editing a General Ledger entry, click the Check tab, then click the Print This Check Now button.

  • Multiple General Ledger Checks: Click the Print Checks button while on the General Ledger screen. All the checks on the ledger that have been flagged to print will be printed. These checks are included on the General Ledger.
