Within your software you have the ability to add a credit to a clients account to be used for services or products in the future or you can even allow your customers to pay you back later and keep track of how much you are owed by your customer.

โ€‹Applying Credit to a Client's Account
There are a few ways in which you can add a balance to a client's account, but the best option for recording keeping would be to add a balance to the client's account through a ticket.

  1. From the ticket screen, select Add Ticket.

  2. Select the client whose account you wish to add a balance to.

  3. Once the ticket for the client is open, press Special in the bottom right.

  4. From the list, select Client Balance and then Add Additional Credit.

  5. Enter the amount you wish to add to the client's balance and press OK.

  6. You can then close the ticket like you would any other transaction.

Using a Client's Available Account Balance

  1. From the ticket screen, select Add Ticket.

  2. Select the client whose account you wish to add a balance to.

  3. Add the products or services that the client wishes to purchase.

  4. To use the client's balance, select Special in the bottom right.

  5. From the list, select Client Balance and then Use Available Credit.

  6. Enter the amount of credit the client wishes to use and press OK.

  7. You can then close the ticket like you would any other transaction.

Adding an Amount Due to a Client's Balance
If you wish to allow clients to pay you back later, the program will allow you to record the amount due to a client's account to be paid at a later point in time.

  1. From the ticket screen, select Add Ticket.

  2. Select the client whose account you wish to add a balance to.

  3. Add the products or services that the client wishes to purchase.

  4. To close the ticket and added the amount due to the client's balance, select Special in the bottom right.

  5. From the list, select Client Balance and then Close Ticket and Add Amount Due to Client's Balance.

  6. Select Record Amount Due.

  7. The program with then tell you how much was added to the client's balance and what their current balance now is.

Paying off a Client's Balance

  1. From the ticket screen, select Add Ticket.

  2. Select the client whose account you wish to add a balance to.

  3. Once the ticket for the client is open, press Special in the bottom right.

  4. From the list, select Client Balance and then Pay Off Balance.

  5. Enter in the amount the client will be paying off at this time and press OK.

  6. You can then close the ticket like you would any other transaction.

Manually Adjusting a Clients Balance
If for some reason you need to adjust a client's balance without making the changes on a ticket, you can manually adjust the balance.

  1. Go to Clients and double click on the client in question.

  2. Select the Balance and Loyalty Points tab.

  3. You can then select either Set to Exact Value, Adjust by Adding Credit, or Adjust by Removing Credit depending on how you need to adjust the balance.

  4. Once you have entered the amount to be adjusted, it is recommend to add a comment with the days date as to why the change was made.
