With your software you have the ability to track when clients are referred by an existing client of your business. You can also have the software automatically give clients who have referred new customers loyalty points to be redeemed. You can also track how customers have heard about the business, whether it be from a local ad or an online ad.

Recording Client Referrals

  1. From the Add Client screen, select the Marketing tab.

  2. In the Client Referral section, press Select.

  3. Search for the referring client's name and double click on them.

  4. If you have added the rest of the new customer's information press Save. Otherwise select the Contact Information tab and enter the customer's information before pressing Save.

Once a client has been marked as referring a new customer, you can then provide them with a credit. If you have setup that loyalty point system within the software, the referring client will receive their loyalty points automatically. If you have not setup a loyalty point system and wish to, please follow the directions here for further information on setting up the system.

  1. To generate a list of clients that have not yet been credited for their referral, go to Reports.

  2. Select More Reports -> Client Referrals - Not Credited.

With this list you can then go into the individual client accounts and either add a credit to the customer's account or provide them with a reward in some other manner.

  1. Once you have given credit to the clients, you can go to the Marketing drop down list.

  2. Select Credit Clients for Referrals.

  3. A window, like the one below, will then appear. Press Yes to mark all clients as having received credit.
